 "Earthquake shakes Pakistan 

Today  on 12th of February 2021 earthquake  shaked the earth . An Earthquake of 6.3 on Richter scale in Tajikistan  according to national center for seismology was observed .

The Epicenter of Earthquake was 198km northwest (NW)

 Of Islamabad. the agency said . The earthquake struck at Deoth of 75km from the surface.

The northern areas of the country, including the federal capital and several cities in Punjab and khyber pakhtunkhwah province , were jolted by a 6.4 magnitude earthquake on Friday night according to the Pakistan meteorological department.

The tremers were also felt jn several cities of India. The earthquake, which struck  at a depth of 80 kilometres origionated at 10;02 pm , with the epicenter in Tajikistan, said the Meteorological department. The information was recorded by national seismic monitoring centre which recorded an earthquake of magnitude 6.4.

Meanwhile the United States geological survey recorded the magnitude at 5.9 , with a depth of 91.6 kilometres and its epicenter at 135 kilometres west of murghob. In Pakistan malakand and Hazara division were also jolted by earthquake.
